Monash Blues congratulates Billy Geary on who will play his 100th game this weekend.

Since beginning with Monash in 2010, Billy has made a name for himself as a reliable key position player in the thirds and reserves at both ends of the ground as well as in the ruck.

Struggling with injury early on during his years playing Under 19s, he has developed into a strong on field personality and leader, someone who can always be relied upon to lift the team when needed.

An imposing forward line target, Billy is known for using his size to gain the upper hand in one on one contests and is rarely beaten.

While his strong marking is sometimes let down by erratic kicking, with him frequently kicking miraculous goals from 50 only to miss a seemingly simple shot from 20 out, he has never let this affect his endeavour and attitude on or off the field.

Always giving 110% Billy exemplifies what it is to be a Monash Blue. Congratulations on a wonderful career over the last 8 seasons, one which will no doubt continue for many more to come.
