Once more the Monash Blues will play Friday night football as part of the University’s annual WinterFest celebrations but this year we go INTERNATIONAL!

At 5.30pm on Friday 11th August our Women’s team will take on USA Liberty* – currently in Melbourne for the 2017 AFL International Cup. This will be followed by the WinterFest fireworks at 7.30pm then our Under 19s’ 4th v 2nd clash as we take on PEGS at 7.40pm.

Liberty – the US’s second team – may have a big crowd behind them so come on down to The Frearson and cheer on both of our teams as they play in two genuinely important encounters.

*USA Liberty played in the 2014 AFL International Cup but, due to extra teams competing in 2017, they are here to play a series of international friendlies whilst the US’s first team – USA Freedom – will compete for the Cup.
