Jordy Bell - 100 Games

25 Aug 2017 by Luke Leviston

Jordan ‘the Moondog’ Bell has returned after a brief hiatus to Perth to play his 100th game for the Monash Blues against Chadstone in the Club XVIII preliminary final. Our Club Captain back in 2010 and 2012 and winner of Best Clubman in 2012, Jordy had played all of his football in the ones before coming back this year to apply his experience and leadership skills to help out the Club 18 side. In his prime Jordy was a consistent performer, regularly accumulating best on accolades (on occasion not even an 8 goal haul from his opponent could stop him).

Known for his willingness to include all in a club that he loves, Moondog has never been afraid to treat the newcomers to a toffee apple, a yarn and a beer. Let’s hope the club can unite to yell ‘ball’ from the sidelines plenty more times for the big fella. One of the all time greats of the club from the last 10 years, well done mate!
