Luke Richardson - 100 games

30 Apr 2015 by James Gray

A long time coming

Congratulations to Luke ‘Richo’ Richardson on playing his 100th game for the club this weekend.

‘Cho’ was a member of the powerful Whites teams of the mid 2000’s that were perennial finalists in the Club XVIII competition (but were unfortunately unable to taste the ultimate premiership success).

Once a hard leading forward with sure hands and a deadly accurate kick for goal. In the later years of his career, the bearded ‘Cho’ has transformed himself into a reliable, dour defender and an on-field leader of his beloved thirds team.

A great clubman universally recognised and admired for his positive attitude, sheepish grin, and team first attitude ‘Cho’ has always been the first to offer assistance whenever and however it is required.

It has been a long time coming with the majority of Richo’s contemporaries having hung up the boots, but a very well deserved milestone that is a triumph to resilience and perseverance. All at the club congratulate you, well done.
